I personally and many other stylists like to start hair before makeup. Curls require setting time. So whilst you’re having your makeup done the hair can be setting then have your hair finished after makeup. Consider paying extra for your stylist to have an assistant. Having multiple services may need an extra person to help to keep you all on time rather than just one artist. Your wedding day is not the time to be running late. So to make sure everything runs on time for hair and makeup, if your artist mentions having an assistant, trust them and the process of having one. Sometimes it may require more than one assistant depending on how big your bridal party is. This is usually an extra cost but so worth it.
